It all began in Spain...

The Cursillo Movement originated with the Catholic Church  in Spain in the 1940's. It began when a group of men dedicated themselves to bringing the young men of their city of Majorca, Spain, to know Christ better.  Over the years, it has become ecumenical, being adopted by the Anglican, Presbyterian and Lutheran denominations.

Now in Niagara.....

The first Cursillo weekends in Niagara were held in March of 1983 at St. Mildred's - Lightbourn School, in Oakville.  More than thirty weekends have been held since in Oakville, Niagara Falls, Hamilton, Waterdown, Guelph and Ancaster.

Next Cursillo is when?

Weekends are usually held once per year - see the "coming events" page for dates of the next weekends.
