In the Diocese of Niagara, Cursillo is guided by a Secretariat made up of those who have attended a 3-Day Weekend and are actively involved in the movement.  The Lay Director and Spiritual Director are appointed by the Bishop.  The remaining members are nominated by a selection committee, and are elected by Cursillistas at the Annual General Meeting held in September each year.

While not confidential, meetings are not "open", to allow Secretariat to properly deal with all current issues on the agenda within the time allocated for the meeting.  Members wishing to put items before Secretariat, or to have time on the agenda and attend the meeting, should contact either the Lay Director or the Spiritual Director to discuss their request and the appropriate timing for a meeting.  Meetings are held the second Saturday of the month.
